| The Rig is offered as an SCR electric rig utilizing latest
technology. Rig power will be derived from 4 ea. CAT 32 GEN SETS w/ 910 kw. The
complete Rig complement is designed to move rapidly from one site to another.
The Mast is a Superior Derrick design with substructure and is 770,000# hook
load capacity and is 150' in height. The Draw works is a Foster and Hendricks
Helicopter design and rated at 1500 HP. The entire rig is designed to meet the
rigors of jungle operations and helicopter logistics. The detailed description

Volt Generator Control and Drilling SCR Switchboard
|
New generator control and drilling SCR switchboard for the
control of six (6) customer supplied 600 volt AC, 3 phase, 3 wire, main
generators with automatic parallel operation. The switchboards will have a
600-volt, AC, 3 phase, 60 Hz tin- plated continuous copper bus rated for 85
kAIC. The switchboard will consist of the following:
- Four (4) Generator Control Sections,
each will consist of the following:

- Each of the drilling SCR drives is
dedicated with emergency flexibility available to run in a back up capacity for
reversing if needed.
- DC motors to be controlled are GE 752's
rated at 1000 HP -One per pump, one 1000 HP Rotary and two 750 HP on Drawworks.
- SCR1-SCR3 - New Power Design Model #
S70NR1600DCSR, six pulse, two (2) quadrant, non- reversing, SCR drive with a
Siemens 6RA70 SIMOREG fully digital microprocessor controlled regulator
circuit. The drive will be rated at 600 volts AC input voltage. The Armature
circuit will be rated for 750 volts DC output voltage at 1600 amps DC
continuous while operating at 45 degrees C (113 degrees F) and at 2000 amps DC
or 125% for 60 seconds. These drives are configured for the control of a pair
of series wound DC motors.
- SCR4&SCR5 - New Power Design Model
# S70AR1600DC, six pulse, four (4) quadrant, armature contactor reversing,
regenerative SCR drive with a Siemens 6RA70 SIMOREG fully digital
microprocessor controlled regulator and field circuit. The drive will be rated
at 600 volts AC input voltage. The armature circuit will be rated for 750 volts
DC output voltage at 1200 amps DC continuous while operating at 45 degrees C
(113 degrees F) and at 1200 amps DC or 150% for 60 seconds. These drives are
configured for the control of a either a pair or a single series wound DC
motors. Each of the SCR drives will have the following features:
- One (1) Siemens 6RA70 microprocessor
controller with a 16 bit, 38 MHz high performance multi-tasking microprocessor.
This digital system will allow parameters to be entered via a user friendly,
windows like software package. The parameters can be stored on diskettes
thereby guaranteeing that the original performance may be repeated should the
original parameters be lost. Some included features will be:
- Built in diagnostics with at least 50
detailed fault codes (such as failure of a particular SCR to fire, field loss,
under/over voltage, etc.) and a built in 8 channel digital oscilloscope which
can record with pre-trigger and post trigger capabilities any of the 394 test
points
- Digital speed & torque
regulator.
- Programmable acceleration and
deceleration profiles
- Programmable current limit, torque
limit, and time over current (I2t) protection.

protection modules will be connected via hardwire. This PLC will then be
connected to the Siemens S7 remote I/O unit located at the driller's console
via redundant glass fiber optics. The PLC optical link modules (OLMs) and the

Dog
House
|
The dog house will be new and will mount to the substructure in
the collapsed mode. It will elevate to the top of the Drill Floor with the
lifting and expansion of the substructure. It will be lighted and contains 5
lockers for the Drilling personnel, refrigerator, station for water, First aid,
Microwave, bench seating and Fans.

Mast
|
The mast is a 150 foot with Sheaves 770,000 pound static hook
and load and an adjustable racking board. It has full ladder access to the
crown, landing deck and a Geronomo line. The design is a Full Circle design.
The crown is 6 sheaves of 60" diameter with 1 1/4" wire.

This rig will be build with new SCR modules with Four (4) Cat
C-32 with 9 10KW generators and Eight (8) SCR's for Two DC SCR controls for 1 -
1500 HP Draw Works, 1 - 1000 HP Rotary, and Four (4) 1000 HP Mud pumps. Also
included is one spare SCR. The system is designed to allow two (2) site power
(rig down and rig up at separate locations). Four Heli Rig Modules 12 ' long x
10 ' wide x 9" high. 600 volt generator control and drilling SCR Switchboard
consisting of:

Gen Sets - ESI has provided for Four
(4) Petroleum Drilling Package Gensets as follows: Each is Caterpillar Model
C32, 910 DW, 1300 KVA, 600 Volt, 60 HZ, 1800 RPM, 0.7 PF.
Generators and
Attachments - 3 phase brushless, salient pole. Permanent magnet exited, random
wound, 12 lead. Permanent magnet generator include Caterpillar's digital
voltage regulator. (CDVR)
Air inlet system with air cleaner, single element canister type
with service indicator.
Full control EMCP3 Control panel, Cooling system with radiator
fan and fan drive, fan and belt guards, coolant drain line with valve, low
coolant level sensor, Caterpillar extended life coolant.
Exhaust system,
Exhaust manifold - dry - single - 8". 203 mm, ID round flanged outlet.
Fuel
system has primary fuel filter with water separator. Secondary fuel filters,
fuel cooler, flexible fuel lines and fuel priming pump.

for the Rig, work sheets and all warranty information.
